We stayed in Whispering Waters in July 2007. The state of Idaho was in a drought and the wildfires were running rampant. Of course this have nothing to do with the condition of the cabin. The view and scenery were spectacular. The water right in the backyard was cool and refreshing. We were very satisfied with the cabin. Everything was clean and in good condition. White water rafting is available nearby....we didn't plan far enough ahead to make a trip. You have to contact them a few days in advance to book a trip.
