  Smaller cabin - but very cozy and comfortable. Short walking distance to the resort for food, swimming, and golf. Electric wall heaters in the rooms but also a metal geothermal radiator in living room area to keep it warm. Flatscreen cable TV with built-in DVD player also in living room area. Nice outdoor deck next to creek and fire pit area. We stayed during December month and only issue was no cut firewood or wood kindling - other than that had a great and enjoyable time.

    Firewood is not provided at properties that do not use wood for heat.

  Great house in reasonably good location. Clean and comfortable and much enjoyed. Unfortuantely timed with uncompleted grading work and wet conditions creating a full blown mud bog around the access portion of the cabin. Had to jockey car around to be able to get out and unload with minimum of trudging through mud to concrete outside of door. Very comfortable once in...but a mess getting there and getting out to even take a walk. Would consider this very comfortable cabin again once assured access was in better condition.

    We apologize for the muddy inconvenience, however, out of our control was a natural spring that decided to arise with no notice! The problem has been resolved.

  We found the cabin just as homey and welcoming as everyone we met in Garden Valley. It was perfectly stocked and comfortable. The store clerk in the new market also even though we were strangers asking for a map was helpful, courteous and very welcoming. I would recommend this cabin or any of your others to all my friends and of course the competition to all the judges as a place to be relaxed and have fun at the same time.

  My parents are actually planning a trip one week after our trip to look at purchasing a place in the area-that's how much fun we had. We had such a relaxing stay; my two and a half year old asked, "Mommy, can we just live at the cabin?" From the location of the cabin, to the staff at the Terrace Lakes Golf Course/Pool, we honestly couldn't have asked for a better vacation. Certainly will return soon!

  We loved our stay at The Creekside Cottage - very cozy, clean, relaxing, and peaceful! It was great to be so close to Crouch and within walking distance to hot springs. The only downside was that the cabin itself was not very remote - there were other cabins very nearby and we didn't have a very good view of the mountains. That being said, we were able to spend an entire morning sitting on the porch, listening to the creek, and could not have asked for a more relaxing way to spend our time!!

  Just wanted to say we found no DVD player and I thought there was going to be one there. But everything was fine.

    The DVD player is located on the TV itself. We provide an after hours number for all of our customers -- just a single phone call can solve many questions.

  The cabin was cozy, warm and clean. Everything we required was provided. The only minor hiccup was an empty propane cylinder for the gas grill which was remedied with out issue. We are definitely going to return to the little cabin by the stream.

  We enjoyed our stay in this cabin. It was clean and comfortable. Two items folks should know about, though:
  1.) Bring some additional towels. There were exactly 4 towels in the cabin. Barely enough, especially if a trip to the warm springs pool was part of your plan.
  2.) The cabin is basically in a subdivision - don't expect a really "woodsy" experience, as the nearest neighbors were just as close as my neighbors at home in Jerome, ID.

    Guests are asked to bring their own towels for use at the swimming pool and river. We ask that towels belonging to the units not be removed from the cabins.
