  Lighting was inadequate -- especially in the kitchen. Guest towels were of poor quality -- especially te ones in the basket in the master bathroom. Also, wood was provided but no way to chop it -- an axe would be useful. Overall the cabin was great. View spectacular and convenient to amenities. We enjoyed our stay.

  Me and my family had a pleasant stay. Having the river out back was convenient for fishing and just exploring. We loved the view of the river down below and we could see the kids have plenty of fun. During the night we rested in the hot tub which was perfect and relaxing. When Christmas came rolling around we started up the fire place and the kids had hot chocolate. We think that everyone had a pleasant stay as we did. The little trail down to the river was fun for using the mule. The kids seemed to have a lot of fun in that. When the kids came up they had plenty of stories to tell like they got chased by a wild turkey. Which amused the whole family. We had a pleasant stay and we hope to visit again soon.

  everything was great. one exception, the bed upstairs needs to get rid of the egg carton pad and get a pad that doesn't slip and bunch up all over the place.

  We celebrated my mom's 77th birthday at the McBride Cabin. It was perfect. My mom stayed in the master bedroom and she loved everything about the home. The view is beautiful. We were all so comfortable and did not want to leave.

  This was the second time we've stayed in this cabin. It is delightful. The view is extraordinary. We especially enjoy sitting in the hot tub and looking out over the valley.

  We had family from Colorado join us for a birthday celebration. They (2 Adults-3 Children) were able to enjoy then basement with accommodations for the entire family and the kitchen was well stocked. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend this
  cabin again. We saw a lot of wild life while we were there.

  With four bedrooms and two bathrooms the cabin was fully adequate for our group. The deck and the view were priceless. You could find an equal view but not a better one. While the house worked well for us it did seem like it needed a bit of polish (and some decent knives) but, overall, it was quite fine (washer and dryer! gas grill!). We would recommend this experience to others. Thanks!

  We came for the 4th of July in Crouch. The cabin was in a perfect location for us. The view was spectacular. The cabin was clean and inviting.

• McBride Cabin--be nice if there were additionsl comfy sofa(loveseat) in living room. Also if the lawn was watered. But overall a great place to stay.

• McBride Cabin is a delight. We were disappointed in the yard. The pictures on Cabin Keepers website showes a lush green yard. The lawn was weedy and brown--a disappointment for the kids who wanted to play but over all the cabin was great.

  The location was scenic and quiet. The view was magnificent, and the accommodations were all we could ask for. Would definitely rent this cabin again!

• Beautiful view, very peaceful, nice place to have special family time. My only complaint would be that our bedroom had TERRIBLE pillows! I was so thankful I brought my own. My husband needed both of the tiny ones to stack on each other!
