  We had a blast on our vacation! The cabin was beautiful and well maintained. Though a little bit farther away from amenities than we expected, the secluded feel contributed to the fun of a weekend in a mountain cabin! There are lots of activities year round nearby that kept us busy when we weren't enjoying the views by the warmth of the fireplace :-) Highly recommended!

  Overall the rental was very nice. We LOVED the wood stove. We loved the back deck overlooking the river. Only thing that would change is #1: the furniture a bit worn. #2: a couple of big frying pans and some tupperware.

  The grade to the cabin and the main drive was very icy. We would have made different decisions based purely on access to the property. The ground conditions were dangerous even to walk on.

  The cabin was wonderful. The weather was perfect, and the view was breathtaking. We were secluded while not being alone or to far from town. We were there for 3 days and didn't want to return to Boise. We will be back.

  We had a great stay and I love the cabin and the view of the Middle Fork, mountains and forest. My only comment is that I'm not from Houston, TX. I'm from Hopkinton, NH.

  Thanks for sharing your home. The cabin was comfortable. The view was wonderful. Further from Crouch than we anticipated, but okay. The furniture in the living room is quite worn. We lost water on Saturday and none of the numbers listed for after hours were answered. Good news -- water came back on soon!

  We had a great time, the area is great for hiking. The hotsprings aren't to hard to find and aren't to far of a drive. Also the area is amazing. We plan on making this a yearly thing. Wish there was water access from the cabin, but the view from the cabin is great.

  Nice smaller cabin for a family getaway with all you really need and nothing more. The view is was great for the cold November weekend where you want to be inside rather than out.

• Clean, warm, and comfortable despite cold weather and power outage. Was nice to be so close to Forest Service land and especially grateful to have our pets with us.

  The cabin was beautiful,and the view from the deck was amazing. It was however unsafe for our 18 month old little girl.We werent aware of the house being directly on a cliff, and the rails on the deck were too wide; that she could of slipped through. For adults and our older children though it was a great place to stay!

  Location was heavenly, the view incredible. The furniture could use some updating. There were no directions as to how to operate the TV/VCR (our group had wanted to watch a movie, but we couldn't figure it out. The plentiful mounted animal heads were a little disconcerting.
